How does a long-term porta potty rental work?
A long-term porta potty rental bills every 28 days and includes weekly service: pump-out, scrub, sanitize and restock. It renews at the same price until you call for pickup. Homeowners, cabin owners and farms use it for remodels, septic repairs, lake lots without plumbing and seasonal crews.
- Starts at $175 per 28 days for a standard unit, delivery included within 25 miles.
- Every-other-week service is available for light-use sites like hunting camps or weekend cabins.
- No pickup fee. Call before the next cycle starts and billing stops.
Can I rent a porta potty for my lake cabin or lake lot?
A porta potty is a common fix for a lake lot with no plumbing, a cabin under construction, or a cabin with a failing septic system. Place the unit on level ground, back from the shoreline and your well, with a lane the service truck can reach every week or every other week.
Douglas County shoreland rules are handled by Douglas County Land & Resource Management. See our lake cabin placement guide.
Do farms need portable toilets for crews?
Federal rule 29 CFR 1928.110 requires 1 toilet and 1 hand washing facility for every 20 field workers, within a quarter-mile walk, when 11 or more workers are hand-laboring in the field. Planting, harvest and specialty crop crews across Douglas, Grant and Stearns counties use weekly-serviced units for this.

What if my septic system or well fails at home?
A septic backup or a dead well pump means no usable bathroom. A standard porta potty by the back door, delivered same-day in Douglas County when you call by noon, keeps the household running. Most repair jobs take a few days to two weeks, which fits inside one 28-day cycle.
