What makes a deluxe flushing porta potty different?
A deluxe flushing porta potty adds a foot-pump flush that rinses the bowl with fresh water, plus an inside sink with a foot pump, soap, paper towels and a mirror. It carries its own fresh water tank, so it needs no hose or power. Guests get a cleaner bowl and can wash up without leaving.

How big is a deluxe flushing unit?
The deluxe flushing unit is about 46 inches wide, 48 inches deep and 93 inches tall. It carries a holding tank of about 45 gallons and a separate fresh water supply for flushing and the sink. Manufacturers rate it at about 150 uses, which covers about 35–40 guests at a 4-hour event.

When is a deluxe unit the wrong choice?
A deluxe flushing unit is the wrong choice in hard freezes, because the fresh water lines can freeze. It also uses its holding tank faster than a standard unit because of the flush water, so for very large crowds a restroom trailer or extra standard units make more sense.
