What should Evansville renters know before booking?
Before booking in Evansville, know three things: which local weekends fill our trucks first, where a level spot sits within reach of the truck, and which Douglas County office handles permits. Each note below changes how a Evansville rental should be planned.
Lake Christina hunting and birding
Lake Christina draws waterfowl hunters and birders. Hunting camps rent a single unit for the season.
Exit 82 access
Evansville is about 20 miles out along I-94. Call by noon for same-day delivery.
Rural events
Town celebrations and church events rent 1–3 units plus a hand washing station.
Waterfowl season timing
Hunting camps near Lake Christina usually want a unit from late September through November. A 28-day plan with every-other-week service fits that season.
Permits: units on public property in Evansville go through city hall or Douglas County Land & Resource Management. More county contacts are on the Douglas County page.
Which porta potty do Evansville renters usually need?
Most Evansville orders come from hunting camps near Lake Christina and town celebrations. For those, a standard porta potty is the usual pick, sized at 1 unit per 50 guests per 4 hours or 1 per 10 workers. Weddings move up to deluxe units or a trailer, and public events add an accessible unit.
